Homepage concepts · Round 2

Pace GFX · Plano, Texas · pacegfx.com redesign

Six homepages you scroll through like a building.

Round 2. Every page is a journey: pinned scenes that move with the scroll, one story from the first screen to the project brief. Six very different trips: a walk through one building, a blank wall getting finished, a sideways drive through DFW, a night shift in the shop, four finishes on one pane of glass, and the text thread that starts every Pace job. One blue, #0AAEEF, plus black, white and the greys. Every page has light and dark mode (three open dark, three open light, marked on each card). Tap a card to open it, and use "All concepts" at the top to come back.

What we still need from Pace
  • The logo as a vector file (the site only has a 490px image; the concepts use a traced version).
  • Higher-resolution client logos (the site serves them at 250px) and permission to show them.
  • Full testimonial text from NTT Data and Shearer Supply, or more quotes we may use.
  • A few photos of the shop floor, the printers and the install crew (the current site has none).
  • Fleet wrap and lobby sign photos, so those two services get their own imagery.
  • Where the project brief form should send (email address or CRM).

    Walk-In

A journey through one building, floor by floor: arrive, lobby, elevator, corridor, glass, parking lot, then yours.

Signature moveSeven pinned scenes driven by scroll. The lobby zooms in, the elevator doors slide open on the Micron wall, the corridor pans, the glass takes colour, and the last scene is a blank grid with YOUR name on it.

    Blank Wall

One wall goes from nothing to finished in a single pinned scene: measure, design, print, install.

Signature moveDimension lines draw, layout blocks slide in, a cyan print head prints the JCPenney photo line by line, four panels lift off one at a time, then the wall grows to fill the screen. DONE. NEXT WALL.

    Sideways

The page scrolls sideways through six Dallas-Fort Worth buildings and ends at the Plano shop.

Signature moveA horizontal track driven by vertical scroll, one building per screen with a giant stop number, an odometer in the corner, and a cyan final stop with the shop's numbers and the form.

    Night Shift

One night in the shop, hour by hour. The clock in the corner scrubs from 10 PM to 8 AM as you scroll.

Signature moveA blueprint draws itself at 10 PM, a light sweeps the printers at 1 AM with a square-foot counter climbing, the CNC bit traces a path at 4 AM, panels lift at 7 AM, and at 8 AM the lobby says Hello.

    Through the Glass

One glass wall takes four window film finishes, one after another, then you walk through it.

Signature moveFrosted, colour, printed and cut film layer onto the same photo as you scroll, labelled in the corner, then the camera pushes through the glass and the lobby fades in behind it.

    The Call

The whole site is the text thread that starts every Pace job: Who did your lobby?

Signature moveMessages and photos appear as you scroll, a typing indicator before the shop replies, service cards and stats as messages, both testimonials as quotes in the thread, and the form is the reply box. YOUR TURN.
